About The Library

Dewanhat MahavidyalayaCollege Library inspires the students to obtain knowledge and to familiarize themselves with the new trends in various fields for their upgradation and enlightenment. The library of the college has an unbiased and non-prejudiced mindset to satisfy the needs of the users. We are user-friendly and willing to help those who have problems locating what they need in the library. Library treats users with respect and makes them feel important. In fact, its primary aim is to provide quality service to the users. The library at present provides services mostly through a manual system. However, keeping in mind the present day requirements, we have started the process of automating the services (KOHA). Internet facility is also available to the users. We are progressing towards fuller automation, but not definitely without human touch.

Rules & Regulation

Hons. Course students are entitled to borrow two (2) books/ documents at a time.
Programme Course Students are entitled to borrow one (1) book/ document at a time.
Books/ Documents are to be returned within 15 days. The defaulter will be charged a fine for each day. Books/ Documents may be re-issued for another 15 days.
No book/ documentshall be issued to a student after the Test Examination.
LIBRARY CLEARANCE Certificate must be obtained before filling up the forms for the University Examination.
Please maintain silence in the library.
Library is “No Mobile Zone”.
Rs 10/- will be charged as fine for issue of duplicate LibraryCard.
Library Card is not transferrable.
Students are requested to check whether there is/are any damagein the book(s) they are borrowing. Any damage found in the book should be brought to the notice of the library staff before issue.
